July 2004 In that my back keeps going out, one of my health care providers suggested that I investigate using Orthogonal Chiropractics. The process, while otherwise similar to traditional chiropractics, focuses on the Atlas, the first vertebra of the neck. Depending on which side of the neck needs adjusting, the patient lies on his side. The chiropractor places a thin strip of metal, which is attached to a long arm and mechanical device, under the patient’s ear where the atlas is located. The chiropractor then initiates the device that makes a loud clunking sound. The sensation on the neck, however, is almost imperceptible. The chiropractor then adjusts whatever other parts of the spine and hips are needed. This I had done four times this month.
I also had a hair analysis (LINK to Trace Elements report) done to measure my heavy metals. I was surprised to see how much hair needed to be cut from my head (as close to the base of my skull as possible) to get a sufficient amount for testing. Visiting the technology assessment expert, I remain hopeful that one or more of the processes he utilizes will provide useful results.
I continue taking the My AminoPlex and NeproTec, a variety of Sanums, Oregacyn, some Oligo Elements, minerals, and remedies from Heel.
August 2004 I see the Orthogonal Chiropractor twice this month and have a brain chemistry test performed. (LINK to my BrainChemical.com report) While I am not testing to have the My AminoPlex, I get apprehensive nevertheless. I begin taking some remedies from Transformation Enzymes, and continue with several Sanum and Heel remedies. My fatigue is fluctuating, but the trend line is in the right direction. I nap almost every afternoon, and my left shoulder and both hips are troubling me. For instance, whenever I have been sitting for awhile, particularly driving a car for one or more hours, I stand up and need to push in on my left hip socket in order to walk, aside from stopping the pain. This has been going on for years, but it is getting worse, as is my left shoulder.
September 2004 Integrative Manual Therapy has been recommended to me and I decide to try it. While it isn’t as unique and intellectually challenging (some would say weird) as some of the processes I’ve encountered, the method is different than anything I have previously encountered. Apparently, there aren’t very many practitioners using this process and it appears to be relatively new, with research continuing with its creator/developer. This is the only time I try it in that I do not find it as productive for my needs and it can take up to three months to get an appointment.
I continue with various Heel and Sanum remedies as well as some from Transformation Enzymes.
October 2004 My adrenal glands have been testing positive to be addressed. For this I have been using Professional Formula’s Adrenal Liquescence. I also test to have the SCENAR used to stimulate my adrenals. I hope these will help reduce my fatigue as well as the stress on my endocrines. I continue taking NeproTec, various Sanum and Heel remedies.
November 2004 Using the zapper and Multiwave oscillator this month, I have to stay optimistic that I am improving; this is a long distance run. 5HTP, L-tyrosine, various Sanums, DHEA and GSF are testing positive for me. These help address various endocrine and brain issues. I am fascinated to learn that most of our neural transmitters are produced in the gut. That is why many naturopaths focus on healing the gut, I am told.
Again, visiting the technology assessment expert, I remain hopeful that one or more of the processes he utilizes will provide useful results.
December 2004 Wrapping up the year, I celebrate by having two lab tests conducted: Diagnos-Techs, Inc. and the Cellmate Foundational Wellness Profile by Carbon Based Corp., and a chest x-ray.
I am testing allergic to booze, which I find upsetting in that it dramatically reduces my pain at the end of the day. But I resolve to diminish its intake. I am experiencing a sensation inside my mouth that feels like I’m chewing on tin. And I am having difficulty sleeping more than 3-4 hours/night. It doesn’t seem stress related, so perhaps it is my brain chemistry. In spite of this, my afternoon naps are diminishing in frequency and my fungus is not as prominent on my torso.
I am most grateful, as are those around me, particularly my wife, that I am not as negative emotionally as a year ago. For the third time during this six months time frame I visit the technology assessment expert. I remain hopeful that one or more of the processes he utilizes will provide useful results.
